Schedrix Allergen Matrix end-user licence agreement

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This agreement is between Capability Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 03060219), 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX ("we", "us"), and the organisation that installs Schedrix™ Allergen Matrix (the app) in its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central tenant ("you"). By installing or using the app, you accept this agreement on behalf of your organisation.

1. The app

The app works out each item's allergens from its production BOM (bill of materials, i.e. the recipe), compares them with the allergens entered on the item, and shows them with whether a named person has confirmed them. It runs inside Business Central and needs no service of ours. We may change the app in new versions.

2. Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app in your Business Central tenants for your own internal business purposes, for as long as this agreement lasts. You may not resell the app, copy it outside Business Central, or reverse-engineer it except as the law allows.

3. Fees

The app is free. There is no paid tier, and we will not charge you for it.

4. Business Central is licensed separately

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is licensed to you separately, under Microsoft's own software licence terms, which you accept before you use it. This agreement doesn't change those terms.

5. Who is responsible for the app

Capability Systems, not Microsoft, is responsible for the app and for its effect on Business Central. Microsoft doesn't provide support for the app.

6. Copies and support materials

You don't receive copies of the app outside Business Central, or the materials needed to support it yourself. We support the app through the help page and by email at support@capability-systems.com. Microsoft Corporation is a third-party beneficiary of this clause 6 and may enforce it.

7. Your allergen information is your responsibility

The app works out allergen lists from the data in your Business Central tenant: your recipes and the allergens entered on your items and components. A list is only as complete and correct as that data. A blank in the matrix never means an item is free from an allergen.

You remain responsible for your allergen information, your product specifications and your labelling. That includes checking each list against your site's own specification before a user confirms it. A confirmation records who confirmed a list and when; it is your organisation's check, not ours.

The app supports your allergen management and works within your HACCP plan. It doesn't replace either, and it isn't a food safety control. The allergen changeover counts are for planning: your site's own specification and processes decide what happens between two orders.

The app never writes an item's allergen attribute. Changing an item's own allergen list is for your users to do.

8. Your data

Your data stays yours, in your Business Central tenant. Business Central sends us usage telemetry about the app, as our privacy policy describes.

9. Warranty

The app is provided as it is, without any warranty, to the extent the law allows. In particular, we don't promise that it is fit for use as a food safety control, that a worked-out allergen list is complete or correct, or that the app is free of errors.

10. Liability

Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Otherwise, we aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, production or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to £100.

11. Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We can end it by giving you 30 days' notice, or at once if you break clause 2. The app's records stay in your tenant unless an administrator deletes the extension's data when uninstalling it.

12. Changes

We may update this agreement. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app's release notes at least 30 days before it applies.

13. Law

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
